For a while the Carthaginians and Romans were peaceful with each other as was stated in their treaty, but eventually conflicts emerged. Afterward, rivalries or grudges were held between formerly Carthaginian and Roman countries. The world was split during the Cartho-Roman cold wars during 1811-1843, 1876-1902 and 1910-1980.
