The Middle class of a society is the educated working class. They're typically liberal we hope. Traditionally the middle classes were the educated people, the merchants, the bankers, the capitalists. Today in the United States and many developed countries the majority see themselves as middle class, and any political party wanting to govern the country must appeal to middle class voters. The middle classes are business owners and educated professional people; they may also include skilled manual workers. Different societies define the middle classes differently.

  • America is not a communist nation; we're American, damnit! We don't have classes except for in school, which is really home, so that's not even a class either. All Americans are the same...no, wait, that's too communistic...we're not all the same, but that's not to say there are classes that separates people by how much money their ancestors bequeathed them. It's the playing field that's equal, not the people. The people are individuals who all have the same values and want the exact same thing for America:
