The Tornado outbreak of June 21 - 23, 2018 was a moderate outbreak of tornadoes lasting 2 days during mid June 2018. The system was associated with a frontal triple point, allowing for the conditions for a tornado outbreak to develop over New Mexico after the system crossed over the Rockies. On June 22, a large wedge tornado, later rated EF3, hit McClain, Oklahoma, which killed 4 people and caused $30 million in damages in the process. In total, 5 people were killed, and $45 million was done in damages, affecting primarily New Mexico and Oklahoma in the process.
