| - From StoryStar 2012 This story is about a girl named Jane from a well doing and lovely family who joins at Ruth TV as a compere. Jane is 25 years old and she is pretty girl with a long straight and curly dark brown hair, with lapis lazuli brown eyes, checks as pink as lily, lips as red as rose, and she is a very loving, caring and bold girl. Jane’s father is doctor and her mother is a retired lecturer. Jane has two elder brothers named Karthik and Sam. She is the youngest in the family and everyone loves her so much. Story begins at Jane’s house. Kringg!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jane! Jane! Jane! Wake up Jane it is 6am. “Voice of Jane’s mother” Jane wakes up the she goes down to the kitchen, hugs her mother, and wished her “Good morning mummy”. Then, she took her shower while her mother prepares delicious breakfast for Jane, her father and her 2 elder brothers ‘with love. Jane took her breakfast and she kissed her mother before she left the house. Jane reached her working place at 7.45am. She punched her card and entered her cabin. As soon as she entered her cabin, her boss Harrish came and told her that she will be interviewing the famous music director A.R. Rahman in a short while. Jane was delighted and she started to get ready for the interview. The interview went on well and everyone was amazed with Jane’s job on that day. Jane’s colleague had a small celebration for one her colleague Alina’s birthday. After the celebration, Jane drove back home. On the way back to home, Jane had to buy something for her mother since her mother’s birthday is in a couple of days. She went to Ampa Shopping Mall to buy a gift for her mother. While she was choosing gifts, she bumped into a person and they fell down and the gift that she chose broken. She was very angry and she shouted at the guy. Jane: Are you blind? Can’t you see people walking? Boy: I am sorry. You are the one who bumped into me. Jane: Oh, really? Because of you, this gift is broken. Who is going to pay the compensation? Boy: Obviously, it is you. It was your mistake not mine. Jane: How rude are you? You have to pay for this. Boy: I am not going to pay for anything miss. Jane: You broke it stupid. You have to pay for this. While they were quarrelling each other, the shop owner came near them and told, “You both are disturbing my business. Now, please get out of my shop and no one needs to pay for this. Please get out of my shop, it’s enough for me”. Jane was very angry, she just left the shop, and she never realized she missed her hand phone at the shop. The boy who was fighting with Jane took her hand phone and ran behind her to pass over the phone to her. He was calling her for many times and she never turned behind. So he had no choice and he called her, “hello, arrogant girl please turn behind.” Jane heard that and she stopped and turned. He came near her and “crack”, Jane slapped the boy for calling her like that. He got angry and he just left the place without passing her hand phone to her. Jane reached home and she entered her slowly inside her handbag to grab her hand phone. She was shocked that her hand phone was missing. Immediately, she called she gift shop and she was informed that her phone is with the guy whom she met at the shop just now. Jane then realized that the guy came behind her to give her hand phone and she felt very bad for slapping him in front everyone in the mall. Jane went to her parents’ room and slept on her mother’s lap because she was feeling very bad for that guy. Her mother knew something is wrong with Jane and she asked Jane what happened. Jane told her mother what happened and tears were rolling down from Jane’s eyes. Jane’s mother convinced Jane and asked her to go to sleep. The next day, Jane started her car to go for work and her car wouldn’t start. Therefore, Jane had to follow her elder brother Karthik. Jane went to work but she could not concentrate with her work because she was thinking about the guy. That evening, when Karthik came and fetch Jane from work, Jane asked her brother to bring her to a gift shop. Karthik asked her “Why, gift shop sis?” Tomorrow is mum’s birthday don’t you remember, brother? replied Jane. Then, her brother drove the car to the famous gift shop. Jane went inside the shop while Karthik went to park the car. Jane finally decided to order a flower bouquet and Ferrero Rocher chocolate for her mother and asked the shopkeeper to deliver it to their house. While, Jane was filling up the form and paying cash, she saw her brother walking with a guy to the shop. She was shocked to the see guy whom she slapped last night talking so closely with her brother. She gets more nervous as they both were getting nearer her. She don’t know what to do and how to react, so Jane turned back and just did like never notice both of them. Karthik called Jane, without any choice she turned, Jane’s face and that guy’s face turned pale. Karthik was wondering why are they reacting like this and he asked the guy, “Do you know her?” Then he replied, “Of course I do, dude. She is the arrogant girl I told to you last night. She slapped me in front of everyone. Silly girl!” Karthik was speechless that his sister did like that to his friend. Karthik told his friend that Jane is his sister and he asked Jane to apologize to his friend. Jane asked sorry to his friend without hesitating because she knows it was her fault. His friend never utter one word, he just gave her hand phone to Karthik and he left that shop immediately. Jane was not satisfied and she ran towards the guy until his car and she stopped him. Jane: Please stop. I am sorry for what happened last night. I didn’t mean to slap you but I did it. I know it’s my mistake. I didn’t know that you were calling me to pass my phone to me. I got angry at a moment when you called me arrogant girl. I had a restless sleep last night for what I did to you. I was thinking to meet you again and apologize for what I did. Guy: Never mind. I shouldn’t have called you like that. It was my mistake too. Let’s forget that incident. I am Jay, working with your brother. Nice to meet you and I hope we will meet up again, under better circumstances. Jane: I’m…. Jay: Jane, right? Your brother always talks about you to me. Will catch you later. I got to go. Bubye. Jane: Bubye. Once Karthik and Jane reached home, Jane ran to the kitchen and hugged her mother. Her mother asked Jane, what happened? Jane told her mother what happened in the shop just now. Her mother was so happy that Jane is back to normal. That night after they finished their dinner, Karthik told Jane that Jay send regards to her. Jane smiled and went to the room. Jane called her friend Alina. ***phone conversation*** Alina: Hello Jane. Whats, up? Jane: Hey, I met the guy whom I slapped last night Alina: Huh, again fight? Jane: No, we settled everything. Alina: Cool! How it was possible? Jane: He is my brother’s working colleague and that’s how I met him just now. He is not that bad as I imagined. He is good. Alina: Hmmm… No words. Jane: Hahahaha Alina: How he looks like? Jane: He is very handsome with black eyes, sharp nose, neatly combed hair, and a fair complexion. He is tall and smart. Alina: Woo, so he is your dream boy, isn’t it? Jane: Who knows? Nothing is in our hand. I am feeling sleepy right now. We continue this topic tomorrow at work. Alina: Sure, good night. ***Conversation ends*** The next morning…. Since Jane’s car is in the mechanic shop, she had to follow her brother Karthik, but he had an important meeting where he had to rush to work. Sam brought Jane to her work place. On the way, Sam told Jane that he loves a girl and he is scared to tell about this matter to their mother. Jane told Sam that she will try to open up about this matter slowly to mother and gets her permission for Sam’s love. Jane finally, made their parents agree for Sam’s love and they got married and settled at England. At the same time, Karthik got his transfer to America. Jane couldn’t take it because since their childhood they have never been separated and she was very close with her brothers. She felt abandoned and alone after her brothers left the house. Her parents also went for world tour. Jane felt very lonely, so she went out with Alina that night. She suddenly met Jay after so long and they exchanged their number. They got very close and started to go out almost every day. Only then, Jane got to know that Jay is a very car racer. She was shocked to know that and she loved it either. Their relationship continued for almost 6 months and a day before February 14th Jay called Jane and told her that he want to meet her near the Nira Highway where he always uses to race. 14th February… The next day, Jane went to the place and she was flattered because Jay proposed her to marry him. She couldn’t say no to him. She was very happy to have a life partner like him in her life. Few hours later…. Karthik received a phone call and he was terrified. Immediately he took the next flight and went to his house. He saw Jane was lying down there with bloods all over. All her family members were shocked to know that Jane is no more in this world. The police enquired and told their family member that she was last seen entering the house around 8pm. Jane’s death was a mystery to everyone. Karthik checked Jane’s phone and he got to know that Jane and Jay were in a relationship. Karthik went to Jay’s house looking for him but Jay was not there. Karthik investigated about Jay with his neighbours and they told him that no one saw Karthik for the past two days. Again, Karthik received a phone call that Jane commited suicide that night. Jane’s mother found a letter under her bed when she was cleaning the room. She fainted after she read the letter. ***Jane’s Letter*** Dear mum, It’s me Jane. I am sorry that I will not be with you when you are reading this letter. I loved a boy named Jay and we were very happy. On February 14th, he called me to Nira Highway, I went there and he proposed me to marry him. I was very happy that I going to live my whole life with him but that happiness was shattered in just a few seconds. All of a sudden, a girl called me and told he is cheating on me and he is her husband. So, I called him to the house and asked him. He said yes and I couldn’t take it that I was being cheated all the way long. I was sad and I didn’t know what to do. I killed him mum. I couldn’t take the pain. I killed with my own hands and buried him in our garden. I did not know how I am going to face you all so I killed myself for my mistake. Karthik felt guilty of not telling about Jay to Jane earlier and he never warned her not to talk to him. Jane’s death was a great loss for her family. Moral of the story, do not trust anyone and take a wrong decision in life. People can change anytime. They will seem to be good. Every human has their evil inside and acts good outside.
