Lucio Battisti (5 March 1943 – 9 september 1998) was an Italian singer-songwriter (cantautore). He is considered one of the famous and most influential musicians in the Italian pop and rock music history. Battisti started his career in 1966. Between 1969 and 1994 he released 18 albums in his home country. Some of his productions were also in Spanish (various albums) and English (1 album) released.
