Christian Carion is a French director, producer and screenwriter. When deciding to devote himself to cinema, he rented a video camera, starts to "tinker" according to him, then made the acquaintance of Christophe Rossignon , who then began his career as a producer. In 2001, he then works on One Swallow Brought Spring,as a tribute to its origins which attracted 2.4 million French viewers. With this success, the director tackles a more ambitious project, initiated in 1993, Joyeux Noël. Presented out of competition at Cannes in 2005, this historical epic background of World War brings together a cast English=Franco-German.
