During the final campaign of the Mandalorian Wars most of the 25th Battalion, along with the 3rd, 8th and 14th Battalions, participated in the retaking of Mandalorian-occupied Dxun. In the fierce jungle fighting, the battalion sustained heavy casualties, resulting in the moon being forever known throughout the Corps as "Bloody Dxun." Along with the rest of the Corps, the battalion was disbanded in 1,000 BBY as a result of the Ruusan Reformation.
