Ritsuko formally hails from Matsuyama, Japan. In Japan, she worked on three non-Disney anime productions: Yume No Horshi No Button Nose, Yosei Florence and the 1989 special Soreike! Anpanman: Kirakiraboshi No Namida before becoming basically a Disney animator at Walt Disney Animation Japan until it's closing and had a hand in most of the Tinker Bell productions in recent years. They might be related in some way; but I have no evidence of this, so I assume they are not. He is Animation Director of Two Episodes Easy Come, Easy Milly and Invasion of the Izzy Snatcher on The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
