- Yellow oozes are monsters in ADOM. They are relatively uncommon, but can appear on low-DL levels. Yellow oozes are not particularly dangerous, but can prove a nasty opponent for low-level characters due to the combination of two powers: poisonous attacks and regeneration. Players with mediocre weapons will find themselves at disadvantage as they will not be able to inflict enough damage using defensive tactics, while switching to aggressive combat style can easily lead to poisoning.

Monster Memory
| - The yellow oozes are unique among the primitive jellies in many respects. The first and most obvious is its conspicuous color, which is easily noticed in its subterranean habitat by any potential prey that can see. Also absent from the yellow ooze is the corrosive acids common to others of its type; the yellow ooze prefers organic prey, and as such utilizes poison instead. Since living prey tends to fight for their lives, the yellow ooze has also evolved a remarkable regenerative quality, making it especially hazardous to an adventurer.
