Despite having debuted in 1977 and wrestling in several unnamed matches for unknown promotions, his first known promotion in which he worked for was All Star Wrestling from 1987, 1996 and 1997. In 2003, he returned to ASW and wrestled matches for Premier Promotions and World Association Of Wrestling. Throughout the mid 2000s, Sanders worked for Frontier Wrestling Alliance, Real Quality Wrestling, Varsity Pro Wrestling and International Pro Wrestling: United Kingdom.
