Its gameplay is similar to that of the virtual pets, but it has higher-resolution graphics and allows the player to raise several Digimon at the same time. The goal of the game is to raise a Digimon from an egg to a Champion or Ultimate while collecting several coins scattered throughout File Island. However, there are several enemy players, named "[[Hackers ()|Hackers]]", also trying to get the coins, and they will use their Digimon to attack the player's. The game was never released outside of Japan, as anime-style games like it were perceived to be unmarketable.
