UNSC Tripoli was one of the first re-fitted Paris-class heavy frigates being refitted in 2560 and serves as part of UNSC Battlegroup Athens, It would also become the home of Fire Team Viridian who were stationed with the fleet due to the SRRD (SPARTAN rapid response directive). The Extra weight given by having separate engine/ power cores make the UNSC-Tripoli almost 25% heavier than previous Paris-class frigates. This however does not make it slower, on the contrary due to the separate engines designated solely to thrust the ship it is actually faster and easily as manoeuvrable. The cargo holds are smaller due to the space being needed for the engines, power core, and more advanced computing components.
