abstract
  • The Canadian Revolution was a civil uprising that occurred in Canada in September 2031, orchestrated by the Canadian Revolutionary Alliance, an alliance of three ideologically split radical militant groups, who each had a common goal of overthrowing the democratic government. These groups included the Union of Canadian Islamists, the Canadian People's Army and the National Coalition Party. Heavily armed members of the militant groups launched an attack on parliament hill on September 27 and killed several members of parliament, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Minister of Defence John Wright. The Canadian Forces, with no government leadership, did not attempt to stop this revolution. Local police forces however, did attempt to stop Revolutionary forces, however suffered severe losses and the revolution was a success. After negotiations between the three militant groups, an agreement was signed and Canada was split up into three new countries, each governed by one of the three victorious militant groups. Thus, the countries of Ontario, East Canada and West Canada were born.
