Oddly enough, no Advance Wars game or character ever appeared in a GameFAQs contest until 2010, when the original Advance Wars received a 13-seed in the Game of the Decade tournament. Though it lost to Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal, it received a surprisingly potent 26.72% of the vote, even though many expected it to get tripled or worse.
