  • The Felling Restriction Act was a conservation program recognizing trees as an important natural resource that was passed by the Parliament of Kinnimoore in 1945, after a push by Chief Forester of Kinnimoore Casimir Walsh. The program placed restrictions on the felling of trees on the Isle of Kinnimoore. Due to the mandates of the Act, any tree of the Isle could not be chopped down without the consent of both of the Minister of the Interior of Kinnimoore and the Chief Forester. Before a tree is chopped down, the matter is usually discussed carefully by the entire population of the Isle during an open meeting of the Parliament.
