The Rumpler C.I was a two-seater reconnaissance biplane designed by Edmund Rumpler of Austria and produced by Rumpler Flugzeugwerke. It entered World War I in 1915, and flew its last sorties in early 1918. It was operated by the German Luftstreitkräfte for the duration of the war. Production versions of the C.I would eventually include an lMG 08 machine gun and 100kg of payload for the pilot and a Parabellum machine gun for the rear gunner.
