The M6 Linebacker in Battlefield 2 is the main air-defense vehicle of the United States Marine Corps and the EU. Its counterparts are the Chinese Type 95 SPAAA and the MEC 2K22 Tunguska. This mobile AA sets itself apart from its Russian and Chinese counterparts because instead of a rapid firing set of guns, it has a single 25mm rifle that fires rounds one by one. This gives the Linebacker an advantage over infantry, as the single rounds are easier to aim on a single point, and against armored vehicles, as the larger round can do much more damage than the smaller ones of its competitors. However, it is difficult to engage enemy aircraft at a range, because without a high rate of fire, the rounds are harder to track.
