Some builds are far less effective in Hard Mode than in Normal Mode. Some builds however, are actually more effective, for example Sliver Armor builds take advantage of the increased attack speed of Hard Mode Monsters to deal increased DPS. Another category for bulds, called "Hard Mode", should be created for PVE builds that are also considered to be effective in Hard Mode.

  • Some builds are far less effective in Hard Mode than in Normal Mode. Some builds however, are actually more effective, for example Sliver Armor builds take advantage of the increased attack speed of Hard Mode Monsters to deal increased DPS. This is especially applicable to farming builds. A good example is Build:E/R EoE Bomb farming build, which is incredibly fast in Normal Mode, but deals insufficient damage in Hard Mode to trigger a chain reaction of deaths. Also, some farming areas only give worthwile loot in Hard Mode, so a build designed for these areas would not be useful there in Normal Mode. Another category for bulds, called "Hard Mode", should be created for PVE builds that are also considered to be effective in Hard Mode.
