In the episode, "Shelf Life", Tom, after he was wished out of the book, "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" plays his role as a villian by trying to alter the book of astrophysics when he tricks Timmy Turner and his fairies. Using Cosmo's wand, he wished himself into other books, changing book titles, plots, and storylines. He then wished himself into the book, "The Rat in Spats", where he made fun of the Rat's spats and broke the rule in the book: Never frown. The Rat, annoyed, stepped on Tom with his shoe, and Cosmo retrived his wand back before Timmy wished Tom back into his book for good.
