Salman Umar was a man who worked at Kertek Computing and was also responsible for killing Yahzeed Fahad before luring NCIS Special Agents Rick Hall and James Nelson into a trap before using Fahad to set a suicide bomb, killing the two Agents and leaving their team leader, Paula Cassidy grief-stricken over their deaths. Umar later died in a shootout between himself and NCIS with Timothy McGee and Abigail Sciuto later uncovering evidence confirming that Umar had been the one to lead Cassidy and her team into the trap, not Yahzeed as they had all originally thought.
