  • The Cylon Unification War occurred after the death of the first Cylon Emperor, Lord Kamulos. When another rose to take his place, a sadistic alien artificial intelligence known as Eve who declared herself the next Cylon Empress, the Cylon Imperium fell into civil war. With Kamulos gone, Eve felt that the Imperium no longer needed to remain small. The primary reason behind Kamulos' decision was to not draw attention to himself and the new Detori Triumvirate. Without this link, the Imperium was free to grow. Empress Eve and Executor K471 decided to reunite the territory that was once known as the Cult Mechanicus. Though most of the systems were subdued without full blown battles, there were some that put up a fight.
