A Rishi eel was a predatory creature native to the Rishi moon, where the Republic's Rishi Station was located. During the Clone Wars, the clone trooper Cutup was devoured by a rishi eel. Later during the same incident, the Clone Captain Rex killed a Rishi eel in the defense of the surviving rookie clone troopers—Echo, Fives, and Hevy—and then used its blood to stamp his hand on Echo's armor.
