Rainstorm is a Special Ability in the Dry As A Bone Special Mission in Bloons Monkey City. It spawns one or two clouds above all of the Banana Farms and causes them to produce around $1500 when used. It can only be used once per round (making its cooldown moot, unless invoked late in the round). It still affects Monkey Banks and Banana Investments Advisories, although instead of boosts the numbers bananas generated temporarily, it accelerates its addition of interest temporarily.

- Rainstorm is a White Magic spell in Final Fantasy XI, exclusive to Scholars (level 43). It will give a (single) water-weather status around the targeted party member. While this has no direct effect on the player, certain equipment is activated by weather as well as elemental magic. If the Scholar has the Stormsurge merit trait, this spell will also provide a MND boost.
- Rain is a form of condensation. Within Hack&Craft, but not necessarily in real life, newly formed rain clouds will move directly towards the land. When the rain cloud is above the land, rain will start falling out of the cloud and onto the land. The cloud will continue in a straight direction until it runs out of water. Rain water will increase the saturation of the ground, and based on the type of ground, could reach a saturation point. If the saturation point of the ground is achieved, excess water is released into a flood.

- Rainstorm is a shaman talent available at level 100. For Elemental and Enhancement shaman it gives [Lightning Shield] the ability to strike random enemies; for Restoration shaman, it gives an additional water totem, this one gathering a percent of the overhealing done by spells in order to increase the healing of other healing spells.
