Logbaits were logs trailed underneath sky ships. They were coated in a thin layer of glue which could trap various wind creatures and hull vermin. They were also used to catch Snowbirds and other edible creatures of the air. In the First Age of Flight they were used to attract vermin away from the cargo, but also attracted harmless creatures which some Sky Pirates released. Others killed them along with the vermin, however by the Third Age of Flight the harmless creatures were recognised as a food source and were often cooked up in Phraxship galleys for the poorer travellers on the ships.
