- King Harkinan, better known as simply The King, is the noble ruler of the land of Hyrule. He loves talking about his boi, which has been proven to be Link. He also constantly wonders what's for dinner, and likes to aid his far-away friend, Duke Onkled. However, the duke gave the king over to the forces of Ganon, but when the king was rescued by Zelda, he made Duke scrub all the floors in Hyrule. He is the Head-of-State but has proved himself to be an idiot. His true hair color is grey but tends to dye it brown, and sometimes pink!
- The King also wears a strange blue necklace at the end of the end cutscene in The Wand of Gamelon when he shares a hearty laugh with Zelda. This necklace is never seen again throughout any of the Zelda game. It is considered his laughing necklace as this is the only time he laughs.
- King Harkinian (The King for short) is the main character of Youtube-Poop. He that made his Debut in the 2 Legend of Zelda games for the CD-I. Whether he is good or bad is unknown, but his love of dinner is is unquestionable as shown in Poops and the games.
- Throughout the games, King Harkinian is portrayed as the obese, unintelligent, but lovable obese ruler of Hyrule. He is widely known for his catchphrases "Mah boi" and "Dinner", as well as his appearances in thousands of YouTube Poops.

- In most YTP's, The King is usually portrayed as greedy, immature and selfish, often being a jerkass in one way or another to most people he meets, especially Duke Onkled and Gwonam. He is also negligent towards his daughter Zelda and even refuses to give her a raise. Although he seems to be quite affectionate towards Link, and treats him as if he were his own son and a prince, he certainly won't hesitate to abuse him either if Link goes against the King's wishes. It is no surprise that the King is in the category titled: "Retarded, Insane, Stupid, Dumb".
- King Harkinian (better know as The King or King of Hyrule) is the King of West Hyrule. He originally ruled all of Hyrule, but after the Hyrulean Civil War, he took West Hyrule, and gave Squadala Man East Hyrule. Then Bowser stool part of Hyrule (nowadays known as North Hyrule) from the King and Fake Bowser and Fake Robotnik took over the south of Hyrule. His favorite food is DINNER and he has a Dinner Blaster. He used to be Princess Zelda's father but in The Wind Waker he got turned into a boat or something. No wait, was that a different king? He starred in the Zelda CD-I show.
