  • Xarliz, unlike many others of his race, was not born on the planet of Antimone. Instead, he was born on an interstellar freighter that his parents had bought passage on. They had done so to escape the authorities of Antimone, who were after Xarliz's father, Tubox, for his part in the murder of a governmental offical. Like many Timonae relationships, the one between Tubox and Xarliz's mother, Zartha, ended six months later, with Zartha leaving Tubox and Xarliz to seek out her own path in the galaxy. Contact between him and his mother has been pretty much severed since this incident. Tubox stayed on the run for ten years after this, always with Xarliz in tow, skipping between a number of ships, buying his way where he could, or trading services. It was during these formative years of his life that Xarliz discovered a love for travelling in space, discovering new people, and learning everything he could. Unfortunately, when Xarliz was ten, the authorities finally caught up with Tuboz, and promptly had him arrested. Xarliz somehow managed to escape, mainly through a combination of luck and his developing psychic powers. He ended up on a transport heading to Castor, and while only at the age of ten, his travels with his father had matured his wits and sensibilities. Once on Castor he gave up space traveling for a long time, while he managed to wrangle his way into working in a small shop in a spaceport. Eventually the owner retired and Xarliz was given the shop, from where the continuing events of history unfolded in front of him. In 3000CE, a small bomb left in the spaceport destroyed his shop, Xarliz was miraculously unhurt, as he was offworld at the time, but he was unable to return to his shop. He returned to his life of flitting around the space lanes on different ships, where, several years later, heheard of the Nall invasion of his home-planet. By this point he had comfortably created a life for himself as a pilot for hire, but strangely disappeared from all records for two years. What he did in this time is unknown, but on his return to recorded life, he found himself passage on the IND Jackal, and is slowly building up his finances through simply trading. His psychic talents aid him immeasurably with this. Not long after that he was hired to work as a pilot for Amethyst Operations. Shortly after that he disappeared once more, never to be seen again.
