In situations in which the applicability of the Uniform Commercial Code may be in doubt (e.g., when services may be more significant than the goods, or when the transaction is not a sale, but something else such as a license), the parties may include a U.C.C. applicability clause indicating their intention to have the U.C.C. apply.
