Sooty, Sweep, and Soo are dreaming. Sweep's dreaming of being Superdog, a dog with amazing abilities including super strength. Matthew reads in the newspaper that Geoff Capes, the "World's Strongest Man", is giving a demonstration on strength locally. Matthew and the rest go to see Geoff Capes who proves too much for boastful Matthew in a tug-of-war competition. Then, Superdog appears and before he can demonstrate his amazing strength, they are interrupted by a small boy who says that a runaway lorry is heading towards the school.
