Homage is the deliberate recreation of one work of fiction within the context of another. Usually this is done for comedic effect, but occasionally it is serious. Sometimes it's both. A Homage is an extended sequence, significantly more than a simple Shout-Out, but does not actually constitute a Crossover even when (as in the case of several 1980s/90s Brady Bunch Homages) some of the original stars recreate their roles. (The memory of "A Very Brady Episode" of Day By Day, where an obviously pregnant Maureen McCormick reprised her role as "Marcia", comes to the writer's mind.)
