Ranma is found by a boy named Yohyo Tsuruyasennen who explains that he once met a beautiful girl who stole all his food and stepped on his head. Now all he has to find her again is a braid on her head and a footprint she left on the back of his head. He holds a ball for all women around Ranma's age with a braid. Ranma is chosen as the girl and Yohyo knocks her out with a large ball.

Ranma realizes that she was indeed the girl that was responsible for the footprint on Yohyo's head and begins looking for a way out. It turns out the entire resort has no electricity or hot water because large boulders have blocked the springs, making Ranma unable to turn back into a guy. Ranma breaks the boulders, becomes male again, and disappears from the island.
