Synopsis
| - Having defeated Dr. Octopus at the hospital, Captain Power takes him prisoner. At Tri Corp, Dr. Twaki tells Peter to shape up to keep his job. As MJ books a flight home, the lollipop-sucking Stalker eavesdrops on her calls from his room covered with MJ photos. Spidey finds Ock held prisoner at General Techtronics. Ock reveals that Captain Power is Christina Carr driven mad and given great mutagenic powers by the lab explosion that allow her to take a male form but that are slowly killing her. To gain vengeance, she is killing all the explosion survivors but has diverted to Tri Corp to kill Ock's former supervisor. Dr. Twaki. At Tri Corp, Spidey clamps energy transversion cables on Captain Power, reverting him back to Christina's withered form. Later. Peter discovers Rickman has died. Flying home. MJ sees Peter's Bugle Spidey photos and realizes he is playing hero again. The Stalker hits a cab driver over the head, stuffs him in a trunk, and takes the cab to the airport.

quotation
| - A grown man who puts on spandex and swings from rooftops in order to fight crime! Maybe I'm as insane as they are. But I guess it could always be worse. I'm lucky to have survived. Lucky to not be insane. Still, I can't help but think... ...how much luckier I'd be if I'd never become Spider-Man!
