- Tyrannosaurs were creatures native to Togoria.
- Tyrannosaurs are indigenous to Dravania, particularly near the caverns of Mourn, with a similar creature called Archeosaurs inhabiting the Churning Mists. A closely related species are the Vinegaroons, who look similar to tyrannosaurs but possess bulky plates on its scales and uses different attack abilities.
- Tyrannosaur were flesh eating dinosaurs which hunted in packs. They were intelligent enough to avoid human ranger's blasters though even without their heads, their bodies could keep moving for several seconds through reflex action. The female was more vicious than the male. They lived to at least 120 years old. Once they caught an individual's scent they could track them. Old One Eye's pack lived to the West of the Trans-Time base. When they felt they were about to die they would try to reach the Tyrannosaurs' Graveyard
- Tyrannosauridae (or tyrannosaurids, meaning "tyrant lizards") is a family of coelurosaurian theropod dinosaurs which comprises two subfamilies containing up to eleven genera, including the eponymous Tyrannosaurus. The exact number of genera is controversial, with some experts recognizing as few as three. All of these animals lived near the end of the Cretaceous period and their fossils have been found only in North America and Asia, with primitive Tyrannsauroids being found on the same continents and Europe.
- A Tyrannosaur can be up to 50 metres tall and weigh up to 6 tonnes. It has long and powerful legs that help it to run at a swift and sustained speed. While hunting, the Tyrannosaur can follow a scent-trail for days before catching up with its prey. The Tyrannosaur fears nothing, and will attack even the largest groups of humanoids and creatures. The Tyrannosaur generally moves in a straight line, ignoring all trees and vegetation as it ploughs them down. Luckily enough, Tyrannosaurs can only be found in the deadly jungles of Yssam.
