Bankhead is a housing estate in the south side of Glasgow. It is bordered by Rutherglen to the east, Hangingshaw to the west, south by Kingspark and north by Toryglen. It was mostly developed in the 1950s and 1960s although there are a smattering of cottage flats dating from the 1930s. tenements and terraced housing is most common.
