"Dreams of Children" is a song which is the second part of The Jam's Double A-side single Going Underground, which successfully went to No. 1 in 1980. The song opens and is intermittently accentuated with a backmasked sample of the band's 1979 song "Thick as Thieves". The Jam released two other double- A-side singles, which were "David Watts"/"'A' Bomb in Wardour Street" and "Town Called Malice"/"Precious".
