abstract	Jol Karr was a male human/Echani hybrid and a Dark Acolyte of Darth Verraeter. Before his turn to the dark side early into the Der Hintergedanke Crusades, he had fallen in love with the Daan Jedi Knight Ojol, but she did not reciprocate his feelings, instead, she fell for Yiunab Aablao. Neither man liked the other, and this all but helped Jol's decision to fall. He later met up with them during the Second Battle of Tibrin. During the battle, he cornered Ojol, took away her lightsaber and raped her. When Yiunab came to assist her, Jol killed Ojol in a fit of rage. Seeing his fiancee dead, Yiunab killed Jol in a fit of blind rage and promptly fell to the dark side himself, thanks to a mysterious voice who told him to do so.
