She was the familiar of Master Huntsman (Nimir Osprey) of Tarmabar.When in Nimir's presence,she suppressed the woody texture of her skin and the green, frondish aspect of her hair. Like Nimir, she sought to preserve the woods of Siragale against the ravenous Halfling invaders. Using her magical powers to directly afflict the invaders would have offended others of the Faerie, but lending them to Nimir gave her the appearance of detachment. Mock the Trickster , the only other Maia to wander freely through the Shire, would probably have turn Tilinias into a real tree if he had understood the depth of her involvement. The magical bond between Nimir and Tilinias was slowly changing. The mystical ceremony that had originally bound the Wood Sprite to Nimir finally left him her master.The power of Tilinias' fairy sensuality was conquering the Dúnadan. Some day, he would become her besotted slave.
