Aaron (1757-1772) was the son of Yitzkhak, a cobbler in Kolomija, and his wife, Rivka. In November, 1772, when it became clear that Sabbatean haidamacks would soon attack Kolomija, Aaron announced his plan to join a group of defenders to meet the attack. Yitzkhak agreed, and even volunteered to join the defenders himself. The defenders were quickly overrun when the attack came. Aaron was killed early on, receiving a wound to the head. His father died shortly after.
