Princess "Sakura" of Clow is a crossover character from her original series Cardcaptor Sakura. Their character traits might be similar, but "Sakura" is not to be confused with Sakura Kinomoto. "Sakura" is not her true name, her true name is Tsubasa, the same as "Syaoran Li"'s. Her false name means "Cherry blossom" while her real name means "wings" in Japanese. For more than half of the series, "Sakura" is not seen nor is she even known to exist. Clone Sakura instead gets a greater role in the series, though after revealing both Sakura's past she becomes more important to the story.

- Princess Tsubasa is a protagonist in Clamp's crossover series, Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle and Tsubasa Chronicle. During most of the series she goes by the name of Sakura. Her character is similar only in looks and personality to her Cardcaptor Sakura counterpart. Tsubasa Chronicle takes on a new story with new histories for each of its characters. Her name (Tsubasa, ツバサ) means wings, and is the same as Tsubasa Li. Since wings come in pairs, this deepens the connection between the two.
