  • Aotearoa (New Zealand) The Aotearoan Empire stretches over much of the Pacific east of the Philippines and south of Hawaii. Aotearoa has a strong military history having been involved in various conflicts with the English Empire, this has been resolved by the assistance of Scotland and seen the authority of the Māori monarchy replaced by a federal empire. After a disastrous expedition by Scotland in the 1720's to colonise the country the colonists ventured to live amongst the Māori population. Subsequently, the Scottish population has been become a integral party of Aotearoa society, allowing strong links to exist with Scotland to this day. Scotland and Aotearoa signed a military pact in 1835 to defend Aotearoa's Pacific empire.
