Darth Balrog, born Peter Starkiller, was a fallen Jedi Knight and Dark Lord of the Sith. He was also known as the Lord of Death. He was Atris first Padawan and she trained Peter using lightsaber and force powers greatly. He was friend of Revan and helped him returning to the light side by fighting with him against Rakatan warriors at the Battle of Lehon. He gained crucial importance for the Jedi and became one of the best Jedi knights of the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine. After a long period he travelled to Expansion Region for finding the lost Jedi.

He was friend of Revan and helped him returning to the light side by fighting with him against Rakatan warriors at the Battle of Lehon. He gained crucial importance for the Jedi and became one of the best Jedi knights of the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine. After a long period he travelled to Expansion Region for finding the lost Jedi. At the mission to Keldyx Prime, Peter was impressed from Vandar's knowledge but he lost his lightsaber after the duel with Darth Malak. After he lost his lightsaber Atris became very strict with him. Although when he came on Korriban for destroying the remaining Sith, Peter discovered the holocron of Darth Vulgar, an ancient Dark Lord of the Sith and Sith alchemist in which found himself. Peter after he began having bad relationship with Atris, Peter helped Darth Nihilus extinguishing all the Jedi of the Enclave and fell to the dark side after he was tempted and captured from Darth Nihilus. After he was fell to the dark side he betrayed the Dantooinian Jedi and helped Nihilus enter the Academy for destroying the Jedi. During his fall he visited Katarr and he killed the most of the remaining Jedi including his former master Vandar Tokare. Despite of Sith Lord's new abilities he was defeated from his former ally, Atris and his body was so damaged from the flames and lava that Nihilus encased him in a dark life-support suit. Numberless Jedi chose later to follow the path of the dark side and were sent to Malachor V which was Balrog's kingdom and for the Jedi that denied the light and became Sith and executors of Balrog's orders.
