In Greek mythology, Abarbarea (Ἀβαρβαρέα) was a Naiad and daughter of Aesapus, the river god and wife of Bucolion, who gave birth to two sons: Aesepus (named after his grandfather) and Pedasus. Other writers do not mention this nymph, but Hesychius mentions Abarbareai or Abarbaraiai as the name of a class of nymphs.
