I was thinking that a clause should be added to this policy about a deadline to put proper licenses on the images. Example: Any image that does not have propering licensing will be tagged with [[Category:Images with unknown copyright status]]. If a proper license is not placed on the image withing 14 days of the image being tagged with the category, then the image will be subject to Speedy Deletion as described in TOR Wiki:Policy/Deletion.

This would greatly aid in getting rid of photos that we no longer, need/use. Also what about images that are not on a page. Should we also address those as well? Scimatt16 02:43, November 15, 2011 (UTC) I agree. Although I think that after 14 days images without license information, should not be marked for deletion, they should simply be deleted. A tag already exists which is automatically added if licensing information isn't added; in other cases we can simply add it manually. I also think that 7 days would be sufficant time for the uploader (or another user) to add lisencing information. Example: Any image that does not have sufficant licensing information will be tagged with . If correct licensing information is not added within 7 days, the Image will be deleted in accordance with TOR Wiki's deletion policy. Although going through the unlicensed images will be quite an arduous job, there are hundreds of them. We should also consider a policy in which defines users uploading there own image for use on their userpage/signature. With that policy we can do as other wikis and allow each user to upload upto 3 images which are intended solely for use on a userpage or in a customized signature. User images can then tagged with a template. Alexsau1991 (talk page) File:SithEmblemTOR.PNG 21:15, November 16, 2011 (UTC) I definitely agree with what you have down to add to the policy. I also have no issue going through the images, as I want something to do on this Wiki before launch and I also want this wiki to be as ready for launch as possible. I also support your idea in that users are allowed up to three images for their pages. I have no clue how i would word something like that, but I think that it should be included in the image policy.
