  • Each sorceress who graduated the school of magic can choose between three possible ways of the further career. She can stay in the academy as an assistant to preceptresses; ask one of the independent mistresses to take her into service as regular apprentice; or become a dwimveandra. Dwimveandra is obliged to roam throughout the land, taking odd jobs from various masters, in various places, in order to return to the academy after a few years to apply for the examination and promotion to position of the mistress. Unlike the wandering journeymen from the non-magic guilds, dwimveandras do not have to worry about lack of food nor money - they are able to draw from the special scholarship fund funded by the Chapter.
