The Bumbanian age is a period of geologic time (55.8—46.8 Ma) within the Paleogene and is the equivalent to the Early Eocene and Ypresian age. The Bumbanian is used more specifically with Asian Land Mammal Ages. It follows the Gashatan age and precedes the Arshantan age.
