Dr. George Einwin was a scientist who invented a Time Machine after receiving some mysterious crystals, known as Time Keys, on a dig in Egypt. He used the machine to explore various eras, before meeting Chronos on the moon, who told him that he had broken the space-time continuum by creating a series of paradoxes. Einwin returned to his own time, and killed himself, leaving Filby Young to take his place. ("The Time Machine: Trapped in Time")
