It took time and experience to show her that blood was no indicator of talent, but by the time she graduated, she was perfectly comfortable with who she was. The one person who had the greatest impact on Bella while at school was a boy three years older who first introduced himself by tossing her in a lake. Despite the strange beginning, a year later Bella struck up some sort of friendship with Cooper Evans, discussing books (Shakespeare in particular, of course) with him. After he graduated, however, she was too shy to keep in touch with the older boy she so admired and didn't see him again for eight years when she ran into him in a library. From there, their relationship took off, suffering many bumps along the way. After many misunderstandings and a few kidnap attempts, Bella proposed to Cooper only to have him reject her. Only twenty-four hours later, Cooper realized that he was making a mistake and also proposed. Not content with two proposals, Cooper also took her bungee-jumping in Nepal to prove his devotion. Soon after their marriage, Bella and Cooper discovered that they were expecting twins. Katherine and Gaspar Evans were born on May 10.
