Deirdre's sceptical but loathe to burst her daughter's bubble. Tyrone's depressed as he tells Kevin how the police explained to him that he's no rights over Kirsty or his child. When Steve visits Tracy in hospital, she's thrilled and asks him if he meant it when he said he'd always love her. Not wishing to upset her, Steve uncomfortably assures her that he meant it.
