RSP has been around a long time, and a number of names for it have been coined over the years. * Død mann på boks or "canned dead man" or "dead man in a tin" is the everyday name for RSP in both civilian and military use * Tysker på boks or "canned German", probably coined after the Second World War, less used today * Rester av Sprengt Personell or "remains of blown-up personnel", jokingly used in the military
