The Hawk's Nest was the codename of a military outpose established by the Galactic Republic in the Old Paths of Voss during the Galactic War. Commander by Colonel Deulo, it was eventually discovered by Sith Empire forces, who launched an assault on it from Fort Kodentha. The assault was defeated, but General Thelonia Redrish ordered Hawk's Nest and all its evidence destroyed before more reinforcements could arrive. As the commandos were setting charges, they were ambushed by a bounty hunter before they were ready for detonation and were all killed in the resulting firefight.
