- A subscription allows you to play without restrictions on the subscriber ocean, Cerulean. There are two methods of subscribing: paying via the billing system or buying a box set. Subscribers have access to all aspects of the game on subscription oceans.

- Without a subscription, it was possible to play only in the Future area, and any character in the Members-Only area of the Past which players had had in the final sneak peak weekend will be locked. As of July, all locked characters from the Final Sneak Peek were deleted if they had been inactive for 6-months. Subscribers get total access to the world of FusionFall. Every nook and cranny of the universe was theirs to explore! A subscription to FusionFall allowed players complete access to everything in the game. There were five types available: Family Plan for 1 Month ($9.95 USD)

However, Habitica is not a pay-to-win game and subscribers generally do not gain benefits over non-paying users in terms of advancing in Habitica. The subscription page can be accessed under the Settings menu on the website. Here, players can subscribe, check their subscription status, and manage their subscription. Subscriptions cost $5 USD per month and can be purchased in one-, three-, six-, or twelve-month blocks. Subscribers who purchase a twelve-month block receive a 20% discount, paying $48 for the year ($4 per month). Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the term unless they are purchased as gifts. Players can also subscribe and manage their subscription settings through the Gems & Subscription page of the iOS and Android apps.
